Crockett & Jones ZUG (Heather Gorse) Snowdon Boots – 6.5E (UK)

These boots were a GMTO organized on Styleforum in late 2015 and delivered in April 2016. They are in excellent pre-owned condition, having been worn only ten times, and never in rain or snow. They are presumably waterproof but I have never tested this.

The boots are fully lined in tan calf leather. The style is cap toe but in reality a faux cap toe, with just stitching to give it the appearance of having a cap toe. Made in England.

- Leather: Zug (Heather Gorse) grained leather
- Size: 6.5E (UK) equates to about a US 7.5D (based on the fit for me personally – see below)
- Color: Dark brown. Official description is “oxblood zug grain”
- Style: Plain toe boot with faux cap toe (triple cap toe stitching)
- Eyelets: 4 eyelets and 5 speed hooks
- Pull Tab: Leather pull tab
- Heel/sole: Itshide Commando sole and heel (on top of a double leather midsole)
- Dark brown edge trim

These boots are fairly snug on me. For comparison, I wear the following sizes. Let me know if you have sizing questions.
- Crockett & Jones Harlech 341: UK 7E
- Crockett & Jones Coniston 325: UK 7E
- Alden Barrie: US 7.5D
- Alden Plaza: US 8D
- Viberg 2030: 7 or 7.5 (I wear the 7.5's with thicker socks)
- Edward Green E64: UK 7.5E
