My lease is up in June and I rented at the literal peak of the market last summer; even paid more than asking because of a stupid bidding war. But now it seems the market has been softening, quite a bit.

I'm going to ask my LL to give me a rent reduction, if anything. Otherwise I'll move out to a much bigger, just-as-nice place for the same amount of money. Or pay slightly more and get a MUCH nicer, bigger place. We shall see.
