Opinion on knitwear from Suitsupply?
I appreciate the advice. I am rather new to fine knits. I’m planning on purchasing some specialty cashmere detergent for my cashmere knits. I’ve also read that Woolite dark detergent is recommended for wool. However, are you suggesting getting a special merino wash for merino wool in particular?- knitsandlifts

Ah my mistake I didn’t realize you weren’t the gent I quoted earlier. Well that’s heartening to hear about the merino ones. Perhaps I will go with the size that fits me best out of the gate and see how it fares after a few washes. Thanks- knitsandlifts

I definitely did not do that with the Sunspel polos but I do plan on doing it with the Susu one. I machine-washed in a mesh bag and hung to try. I will likely hand wash the Susu one in cold water and hang dry. Did your Susu ones shrink dramatically or maybe just ~0.5” across the chest?- knitsandlifts

Any chance you can comment on just how much shrinkage you experienced with the cotton/silk polos? Just bought my first one and I sized up because the last polo I bought was from Sunspel and it damn near shrinked a whole size (practically lost an inch in the chest).
