Some of the bunch is still left but most of the good stuff (the jacket you posted) is mostly gone.

Everybody has different tolerances. I wear a full fresco/high twist suit walking around outside in 90 f w/ 95% Humidity and I’m fine, very little sweat. I also have a friend who can’t even put on a suit in anything warmer than 65 because they’ll sweat through it🤷

If you’re willing to spend a little on shipping, reach out to Aram the Cobbler. He does some of the best work I’ve seen and is reasonable on price and timeline.

I would say it looks pretty good as is. Hard to tell from the picture but the shoulder could use a little extension, however being cotton, that could add to the stiffness/tightness you’re feeling. I do think the 42 would be too big elsewhere.

They are hefty. Depends on your tolerance, but it’s a no for me for dead summer. The weave isn’t as open as you think, since it’s a suiting fabric.

I wouldn’t go 9D. Grant is not as large as Barrie IME.

Montecarlo & Minnis mock Leno are a favorite of mine. Standeven has some mesh jacketing in their mohair bunch. Lots of good options out there

Could be loose thread that they were too lazy to scrape out. Hard to tell, but either ways it’s lazy.

different last (Grant) and higher vamp, so much more secure and comfortable fit in my experience.

I’m not against the “blazer suit” idea conceptually, and I have a navy suit that I’ll wear as a navy sport coat every once in a while. The biggest issue I have with the idea is that you’re going to wear the jacket out faster than you normally would. If you’re worried about getting a sport...

Random pick-up. Haven’t heard of this bunch but it is hefty and scratchy. Should make for some decent pantaloons.

I’d much rather have it too long than too short. I bought a 15 34 slim dress shirt from them last season and it is much shorter than any of the other shirts I have from them, oddly enough. Good to hear promising results from the program!

They do offer 2 different colors of brass hardware. The original, and the newer version that they call “dark brass” which is on the Baldwin boot from DW

Looks like they could use a little length, which could be why it’s kicking out at the bottom. It could also be that the crease is just a little out of line.

#2 really is quite a bit more red than #4. Nice to see them side by side. Those look great!

Still one of my favorite make ups ever. They look great with slightly darker edges. Which edge dressing do you use? I’ve been meaning to do this to a pair of boots.
