The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

Thanks, this is my general thought. I actually owned a 16570 Explorer II (smaller size than the current version) and it fit my wrist much better. I couldn't afford to keep both that and the new explorer, so off it went. I regret that sale - had full box and papers and was a nice watch. So, I am...

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

Good question - hence seeking some advice. Its a few millimeters of difference in case size and in thickness, although I haven't had the chance to try on a vintage GMT myself.

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

Looking for some advice from you folks - Last year my AD came through out of the blue and offered an Explorer II polar with essentially no purchase history. Didn't have long to make the decision and bought it. I've had it for over a year now but now I am considering moving it on for a 5 digit...

Dumb question, but what happened with the other site for LuxeSwap for the sale of more women's stuff like bags? Couldnt find it anymore, trying to do some Christmas shopping for the wife!

    The Official-ish DC Thread

Originally from the south and it’s clear DC is moving to more typical southern summer weather - hot as hell and crazy thunderstorms every afternoon during the summer. Anyone who doesn’t believe in global warning is a dummy.

Speedy Tuesday! Trying out a cheap sailcloth strap and I really like the change up from the Omega bracelet. Much better for summer as it’s creeping in.

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

Wife and I are finishing up a vacation. Walked past a Swatch store literally without paying attention and saw the whole collection of moonswatches in a window and walked in. They had most models, but not the mission to moon, earth, or a few others, but had a majority in stock. They instituted a...

Day 2 of this. It certainly wears much larger than the 16570 but I’m really falling in love with it. The larger size makes it feel more appropriate for its original sporty purpose, plus it’s easier to read. Really still so pumped to get this call, particularly the polar, with so little spend.

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

Boom. Brand new from the ad! Previous spend in the hundreds, not thousands. They must have been drudging the bottom of the list. And probably not allowed, but let me know if anyone is interested in a recently serviced 16570 with everything.
