RANCOURT & Co. Shoes - Made in Maine
Nice pair. Rancourt never made for OSB. OSB is made in the older Highland shoe factory, which did work for Chippewa, Eastland, etc. When the factory decided to close, OSB bought it and kept the business which was an incredible move.- WSB17

We partially agree here, because I would never wear a lugged Park Avenue myself either. But the point is, they're providing a more utilitarian, functional, version of a beloved model. Yeah, same thing happened to me last year... I got the letter/bill 2 months later. I asked why didn't they collect the charges when they delivered the package ? They said because it is surface mail and due to the covid situations they don't do that anymore, they don't even collect signatures...- WSB17

Thanks for sharing this.. I'm in Ontario and this is something I've had to straggle with many times.. Private couriers (UPS, FedEx) seem to charge a ridiculous amount of brokerage fee when going through Canadian customs. So I prefer to ship using USPS as well. All good, no complaints.. Shinki shell is great, the welt is clean and even.. no other quality issues I could find (besides a minor discoloration on the apron of the right shoe which could be treated with Saphir shell cream).- WSB17
