I have never in my life worn belt with formal trousers/suit. Bought 2 pairs of trousers just to try the mod 2 fit (one with loops one without) and... well, unsurprisingly, I find the waist to be way too low (and perhaps a bit generous, agreeing with the guy before) and I just don't understand...- efta

Fit advice: Mend’s suit off the rack
A bit difficult to say as it looks like you have your shoulders in a bit of an unnatural position. However I would say there’s at least an inch or so excess fabric in the back and perhaps the an inch or so too tight in the waist. I think you’d want to at least try going down a drop or two. Depends. It will remove the driving inflation factors (mainly energy) so it might on a fundamental level. But if the drivers on the market (fed/institutional investors) are bearish, the market will remain bearish. If peace is declared, we might see a bull trap. I think we will see a slide...- efta

As Kevin pointed out, the key factor (that I neglected in my post) is whether its been sewn on so tight that it has "ripped" the fabric. If you know its not, its fine. If the choice is between unaltered and easily removable faux, the latter will probably result in the least amount of hassle for...- efta

What are the factors that make trousers drape perfectly?
I would even argue that ambrosi at retail is only beat in terms of value by... well, ambrosi on sale. But even though they're great trousers, they're still rtw. Alterations can only get you so far (though with trousers, thats pretty far).- efta

I think other people in this thread will give you better specific advice, so I'll be more general. But IMO you definitively need more fabric in the thigh and seat (to get a cleaner drape as well as a cleaner front) and possibly in the knee area. Your pose makes it somewhat difficult to...- efta
