    A wide footer here too. The JM Weston 180 is the most comfortable I have, most of the other companies lasts are a little too refined for me. Velasca might be worth a look too.

    Was hoping to try some Cordovan LHS in 11D to compare with the 10.5 E I have where my toe is too close to the end in one shoe.sadly looks like San Ant is an Alden free zone

    I have both (10UK havard and 10.5E LHS). The D width LHS is definitely not wider than the Havard

    My Church’s Ryder chukkas had horrible dirty white crepe soles. Andy at Ingmans of Chesterfield in the UK replaced the welt and then installed a light weight Vibram sole . A stunning job that has transformed them. Cannot recommend this passionate family team of craftsmen enough. Thanks guys.

    I realise you are not close to a retailer but have to say the Islay is a really large fitting boot in my experience. I have wide feet and take a 10UK in most shoes and boots (a 10.5 in the 2298) and my foot was swimming in a 10 Islay.
