I have a pair of these as well and can concur that they are one of the most comfortable boots out of the box I’ve ever owned and have one of the simplest break-in periods. the texture of the leather is unreal and makes them a very unique makeup overall. Thrilled with the boots!- Sschaffer24

Viberg Chelsea's are some of my favorite boots I own, and would heavily recommend giving them a try. I know the last is difficult to size for though. For myself I took the same size as 2030 and these work perfect. I would say my feet are also solidly an E with. YMMV though!- Sschaffer24

I can tell you from personal experience (I own both the Olive Shinki and Natural Horsebutt Boondockers you mentioned) that they do indeed fit differently. My Shinki's are 9 and Boondockers are 8.5. I was suggested to size this way by DR and am happy I did. Fit is very similar between the two...- Sschaffer24

I have a handful of wears, overall these boots are fantastic and in some lighting comes across as more of a hunter green, but in natural light and most conditions I would say it actually leans more to a true olive tone. I think either of those will work. Personally I think anything neutral without too much pattern to clash will work with these. I’m really excited to see how they age mroe 8.5! Not sure when they’ll appear (or if they will, may have someone waiting on them. Worth checking though!) I can’t say...- Sschaffer24
