This! I’ve had to let go of a shirt that I bought together with another one on the same day and wasn’t smart enough to properly try on - while the first fit perfectly, the second was 4cm shorter and kept escaping my trousers. Proper annoying but the shirts are really good and I have them...

The Unofficial Sartoria Pastena Elegance Naples Thread

Hi everyone! I’m planning on attending an upcoming trunk show. I’m in contact with him via WhatsApp, but due to language barriers, I’d like your input on a couple of questions: -what’s the consensus on his shirt offering? He quoted a very competitive price for bespoke shirts and claimed...

    The Official Carmina Sizing Thread

Hi everyone! also wanted to use this perfect example of swarm intelligence to see whether Carmina might have something for me. On a brannock device, I'm a 10 B. My feet are "spade"-shaped, at least according to Moulded Shoes, selling the Alden Modified Last - I need space in the toe area...

Any updates to P. Johnson's offerings? They did great work for Bill Nighy!

    Anglo-Italian

Anyone here a customer of Anglo-Italian that's hard to fit RTW? I'm 6'2 with broad shoulders and long arms, so RTW often comes up short if there's no 94/98 size or enough material to shorten accordingly (Drake's, for example, is too short in the sleeve for shirts and a bad fit for jackets/sport...

Jacques Marie Mage - Wolves, Obnoxious Acetate and The American Dream

Hi there! Can anyone kindly help me identify this model? It's being worn by a German TV show host. I think it's JMM, but couldn't find the model yet:

    Rubato

It's quite funny - everyone loves the chinos but slims them down. Makes me wonder: why not buy a slimmer fitting chino in the first place? :)

Any updates to this? Is it still safe to order from them? Any update would be greatly appreciated!

    Rubato

That’s great to hear! How does the leg opening and full leg line work for you? I think it was over at permanent style that I read that the author wasn’t comfortable at first and had his chinos slimmed down. I guess it’s quite a stretch when you come from a 16-18 cm leg opening. I felt the same...

    Rubato

Good morning! So either my search function is broken or there really is no dedicated thread for this great brand. I’ve heard a lot of great things about Atempo Rubato over the last couple of years and know that they have participated at some key pop up events as well. However, what I’m...

The Official Alden Thread for 2023 - Share Reviews, Sizing, Advice, and Photos.

Good morning! Hope everyone had a pleasant thanksgiving. I’ve just received a pair of LHS in snuff suede that I bought from eBay and have a question as I haven’t encountered this before. Inside the toe box / toe box area there is some papery material that is really brittle/flakey and falling...

The unofficial Drake's London Appreciation Thread

Pretty much the „this is what you think you look like“ vs the „this is what you actually look like“ problem one can witness throughout this thread whenever people go full Drake’s.

The unofficial Drake's London Appreciation Thread

Uh, so Drake‘s has a nicely photographed campaign celebrating Maine in general and New England shoemaking in particular by working together with a brand that makes its shoes in…the Dominican Republic? That’s so Drake‘s-y.

Great to hear, thank you! How did you account for the shrinkage with Wythe‘s OCBD? What size did you take and what do you usually wear in Drakes? I also like my Drake‘s OCBD, esp. since they are readily available and pretty consistent. They are expensive though nowadays
