I recently saw Yeossal and Epaulet offer matching pants for some of their chore coats and safari jackets. This is a bit different from casual suit options in more relaxed fabrics such as linen or corduroy that maintain similar jacket details found in a more formal suit (e.g. notch or peak lapel, 2-3 buttons).
I've seen old photos of men wearing chore coats or safari jackets with matching pants, but it usually looks like it was part of a work uniform. I can't recall ever seeing someone wear this kind of get up as a stylistic choice. What do you all think? Is this a good alternative to other casual suit styles or are these types of jackets best worn with separates? Do any of you wear workwear style jackets with matching trousers?
