GIIN is thrilled to be part of the Styleforum community!

GIIN is a brand new apparel company. We wish to promote the idea of enjoying more with less. We focus on both being a responsible producer, and creating quality garments that are functional and comfortable. All of our products share the same attributes: they have long shelf life, they are low maintenance, and are durable and convenient for travel.

Our first project is an undershirt and boxer briefs set. We believe that the pinnacle of comfort is achieved when you don't feel like you're wearing anything at all. This is particularly true when it comes to undergarments. Our Sewn-Free Men's Undergarment Set achieves just that. We have replaced traditional stitching with Bemis® Bonding technology. The garment is completely bonded, created without a single sewn stitch. The bonded hems feature a low profile seam, and are much less abrasive than stitched hems. We have developed the fabric in-house with a combination of high-twist cotton, polyester and Lycra. The garment does not lose shape after washes. It is fast-dry, and perfect for travel. The sand colour blends into your skin tone, so the undershirt is invisible under the dress shirt. It is what we think proper undergarments should be.

Please visit us at
www.giin.style for more details of our undergarment set. Our plan for the coming months will be hosting private trunk show events in various cities. Please let us know if you're interested. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries at [email protected]. We would love to hear your feedback and warmly welcome any questions you may have.

We are currently setting up our eshop and working on some new projects and will be posting updates here. We look forward to chatting with you. Glad to be here!

Cheers,
Frank and Jen

About damn time, thanks guys!
Only problem is how or where I can buy your products? Went to your website but there's no e-store.

BTW, what's the composition of your fabric (cotton / cotton poly)?

Thanks for the warm welcome message and your interest in our products.

Our fabric is developed in-house with a combination of high-twist cotton, polyester, and a healthy dose of Lycra. The high-twist cotton gives a dry feel on skin and is fast-dry. Our clients only bring 2 sets of our undergarment to travel.
Our undergarment set has been made available through our network since last year. Some of our clients are in fact SF members.

We are currently setting up our eshop which we plan to launch in about three months. If you are interested in our products in the meantime, they will be available at our trunk shows or please PM me and I will do my best to fill your order.

Once again, thank you for your interest and please do not hesitate to ask if you have more questions.

Thank you for your interest in our products.

We are in the process of finalizing the retail price of the undershirt and the boxer briefs. The price range should be around US$30-40.

Thank you and please let me know if you have any question.

Sewn-free is a confusing phrase to use in your marketing.

Stitchless, or no-stitch directly communicates one of the plus points of your garments, whereas sewn-free reads like jargon.

Also...not everyone is sand-toned!

Thank you so much for your feedback, ino68. You have a very valid point. We will certainly consider your excellent suggestions.

Indeed, not everyone is sand-toned. We do have plans to introduce more colour(s) in the future. Please visit www.giin.style and our social media pages for more details. We will post updates here too.

Thanks for looking out for us. This is exactly the kind of input we need. It is much appreciated!

Sincerely,

Frank and Jen

I have no use for an undershirt, but boxer-briefs that are invisible under light-colored trousers are very useful. Do you sell these as separates? Price? How to purchase?

Bonded? What does that mean, exactly? Glued? Please explain.

Thank you for the excellent question, TheWraith.

We have replaced traditional stitching with revolutionized Sewfree
00ae.png
adhesive films from Bemis®, a US-based company specializes in thermoplastic adhesive film products which are designed to bond materials together. These adhesives bond a variety of fabrics to form a soft, durable and elastic bond. By eliminating layers of stitching, it results in low profile, non abrasive bonded seams/hems. The garment, therefore, is much lighter and is very comfortable to wear.

Our undershirt and boxer briefs (including the logo/care label, and the waistband of the boxer briefs) are the first in the market that are completely bonded. Please visit www.giin.style for more details.

Here is a great video to show how the fabric is bonded:

I hope I have answered your question and please let me know if you have more.

Cheers,
Jen

Thanks for replying. It does and it doesn't answer my question, in truth, if that makes sense. It's still a form of glue, of some sort, from the sounds of things. Wouldn't that eventually break down after repeated wash cycles? Can this be dried in a dryer? If so, wouldn't that again cause the glue/adhesive strips/whatever to break down over time?
