Gant Rugger different oxfords

Hi,

I am looking to buy a couple of Oxford shirts from Gant in Hugger fit and noticed that there are three different kinds of oxfords on their website: dreamy oxford, windblown oxford, and kick ass oxford. Does anyone know the difference between the three?

^^ the "dreamy Oxfords" are generally overdyed + washed. No idea about the others.

Our Gant Rugger shirts are available in a few different fabric weights- it can be a little confusing in the beginning.

Windblown - The Windblown fabric is our softest fabric yet. Washed to perfection, this shirt feels like you've owned it forever. Don't worry about ruining this in the wash- as long as you follow our care instructions this baby will last for years to come.

Dreamy - Similar to the traditional oxford cloth fabric, but is light weight and washed for a soft finish.

Kick Ass - The Kick Ass fabric is our take on traditional oxford cloth.

Additionally we also offer shirts in Madras fabric, which is made from a fine soft cotton. Generally our Madras shirts are available in our E-Z fit, which is more relaxed than the Hugger fit.

Thanks a lot for your response. That is very helpful.

Regarding emailing customer service, I emailed you guys a month ago asking about the 7 different fits you have on your website Casual, E-Z, Easy fit, Fitted, Hugger, Pullover, and Regular and never got a response. I had to order a bunch of shirts on your website, try them on, and return the ones that I didn't like at my own expense. That's why I didn't even bother emailing you guys about the different oxfords. The response times at some of the CS are very short (Band of Outsiders CS for example, responded to some of my questions within 10 minutes on several occasions). I would like to think my experience with Gant's CS was an anomaly. My sent emails show the email was sent to [email protected]. Is this still a working email address?

I have some follow-up questions btw.

I own a few Dreamy oxford Gant shirts. How is the weight of a Windblown oxford fabric compared to Dreamy oxford's? I find Dreamy oxford to be definitely lighter than the traditional oxford.

Also, I recall seeing something called the Perfect oxford and assumed that was the traditional oxford cloth. How is that one compared to the Kick Ass oxford and other oxfords?

Do you have any idea which oxford this one is, what fit it is, and what season it's from?

Currently our customer service team is pretty small, so while we are able to answer most questions within the same day, our usual turn around time is 48 hours or less (not including weekends.)

The Windblown fabric is much softer than the Dreamy, but is about the same fabric weight.

The Perfect Oxford is from our GANT collection and is available in a slim fit, which is similar to the Hugger fit. The Perfect Oxford is available in a traditional oxford cloth, like the Kick Ass Oxford.

The shirt featured on Gilt looks like it is our Imported Fabric Hugger Original Button Down, available in our Hugger fit. We carry this shirt each season, but not always in the same patterns.
