Need opinion on blue suit combo

I have a wedding party to go this weekend and I will be the usher at the church. I have a blue suit in picture below that has been slim-fit-tailored for me. I'm planning to wear a light blue sateen(ish) dress shirt, brown belt and wing-tip brown shoes with it. I need yall's opinion on tie selection. I have a colorful gingham tie pictured below. Is that too much? I kind of wanting to wear a tie that pops out. Should I go for a slim black tie instead? I don't have a white shirt btw. I should invest one but they are too boring for my taste.
