Just wanted to take a moment to show a great appreaction towards Yellow Hook Necktie Co.

I recently received a tie from them and I must say, the tie is absolutely stunning and the construction is well done. The pictures posted below do no do it justice (very few cameras I think will...). Already received numerous compliments on the first wearing. Above all else though, their customer service is top notch. Not needing much of an introduction around these forums, NewYorkIslander (owner) is an amazing person and a pleasure to do business with.

Yellow Hook Neckties is still in it's beginning phase, but once it is up and running, I recommend you making a purchase without hesitation. I know I will be adding more to my tie rotation.

To whet your appetite, please visit their Facebook page ("Like" them too) as they have a few pictures of their ties posted. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks guys. If anyone has any questions, I'm here as well as my wife (YellowHookTies) and you could always reach us at [email protected].

As Imhoff mentioned, we're not quite ready for a release yet, but we're close. All of our stuff is hand crafted, one at a time by one of our talented artisans (we have two right now). Our first release consists of a limited number of heavier wool three folds (as shown in the first post) and a lighter group of wools in an unlined 6 fold. They'll be priced very modestly ($99 for most of the three folds and $125 for the six folds with a very few special edition ties - think Zegna 15mil15 or LP Cashmere at $150).

You can see what we get coming in at our facebook page which is linked on our website.

NYI, if your own tasteful stylistic choices are any indicator of the sorts of ties we'll be seeing from you, I'm pretty excited. Good luck with the business venture, and I look forward to trying out some new neckwear!

I took the plunge and ordered a couple of the Islander's ties - the burnt orange cashmere houndstooth and the denim tweed.

They really look great on the site and have to imagine they will be just as nice in person. I'm looking forward to wearing them for the rest of the winter. :slayer:

The wooly mammoths are nice, but this one would work so well with my wardrobe.
