Hi folks,

Here are the translations from the latest Japanese MEN'S EX "Shoes Maintenance" issue. I'll try to add more pages over a week or two.
Please note that some Japanese phrases sound awkward translated

SHOE POLISHING METHODS by 2 Japanese shoeshiners

This first part is Hasegawa Yuya from BRIFT H
The second part is Matsumuro Shiniricho from MAESTRO

Thanks. After it is saved, the file size for each page/image is only ~170k.

Still very hard to read.

file size should be 1.6~2.0 mb

Got it, but not by dragging. Click on image in post, then click on small button "Original" with small magnifying glass icon on it (located just below the opened image), click it to open full size image

Mirror polish using cream

p.s., for all those godly mirror polish with shoe cream skills, Mr. Matsumuro still wears shoes a size too big...

It is always a pleasure to see Japanese literature about shoes,. I was aware of the shoe construction manuals but had never seen these

As someone who has done a lot of personal experimentation in 'polishing' -not so much for a shine but for a 'patina creation/modification'- it is nice to see well documented detailed instructions even if i would do some things differently

Professionally, I interact with Japanese companies daily, concerning very technical wireless/internet issues and it is always nice to work with people with proper attention to detail, like tech specs etc.

Japanese 'specifications' are great from shoes to 4G networks
