car windows are being smashed a lot in my neighborhood. its not even to steal anything either, its bored highschool kids forming "gangs" and making new members go through hazing rituals like having to break car windows.

the annoying part is that these "gangs" are composed of middle to upper class kids who are bored.... who end up breaking car windows parked on the streets of better neighborhood(s) they live in.

I thought it was easier for high school kids to get laid these days... it seems like it'd be awesome being a teen in NYC during the summer.

I'm so happy that I have a cheap garage/parking right now.

A big motherfucking scratch on the rear passenger door of my Benz. Road construction and one of the motherfucking lane signs tipped over RIGHT as I was driving by. I stopped and bitched out everyone around but we all know how much good that did.

I was under the impression that one is never far from Harpoon in Boston... brah!

Harpoon is meh...beer geek checking in. It actually is a 45 mins trip to harpoon from my place. There are only two stores within walking distance of my place and both have terrible selections of out of date beer. I might have to start making runs on saturday to go to brookline and pick up some things.

What bothers me most is since I moved to the city my craft drinking has gone down considerably, even with a yardhouse 5 mins from my place. Speaking of which they had founders devil dancer on tap last week...I went friday and it was already done. Very very upset.

Edit:

Didn't realize it was you Emart.

Our receptionist is out this week on vacation. For two days now the mail has piled up in the mail baskets at the front desk. Two different girls, both clerical, who fill in at the front desk when the main receptionist is not around, both told me when I poked around in the basket, "We haven't been trained on the mail sorting yet."

When the second one told me, a third was standing around and I said "You have to be trained on the mail sort? Is it so complicated?"

The third took care of it. As for the first two, WTF?

Ah, yes the Training Leads to Quality Work excuse. I use that one myself when asked to wash dishes or pick up dog poo.

I know it's totally irrational, but every time I find little flecks of carbon in my Brita water, I want to smash everything in the kitchen.

Ok. Girlfriend just asked me for a favor, but it's for one of her friends and it involves my credit card. :plain: Way to put me in an awkward position.

Went to the Osteopath yesterday, came out feeling like a piece of over tenderised waygu beef. Slept like **** due to the pain in my shoulder and woke up feeling like ****. I have been instructed to avoid doing weights at the gym, that's if I could even go to the gym today.

I am reduced to an hour on the bike, cross trainer or walker each day for at least the next two weeks. It was -5c over night and I am so sick of winter.

Whinge over get on with rest of day. Yeah right.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
