Why are these threads called "p0rn" ? I feel like someone is going to glance at my computer and think I've ******* perverted.

Agreed. However, the G&G thread is straight up Appreciation, so I always avoid typing by using my subscriptions page. I still don't quite understand why these things designated "Appreciation." Could my failure to understand mean that I'm just not that into shoes yet?

It doesn't get weird until you get into the more specific p0rn threads. When I first saw folded up shirt p0rn it was a real lolwut moment.

Model 950 Forest last in brown,

Is this the regular brown vegano calf leather they use for most rtw shoes (denoted as "dark brown" at the armoury and their web shop), or is this a special/different calf that you requested via MTO?

I'm pretty sure it's the regular brown vegano leather as I ordered them from Betty. I'm still not sure about the available leathers from Carmina and Betty isn't particularly helpful with that sort of thing.

Cognac or chestnut? That would look awesome. Btw, carmina charges 20% for MTO
I'd like something closer to chestnut - a darker brown but either one of these would be pretty awesome

Cognac:

Burgundy:

im tearing my hair out, getting a bal boot but cant decide on color. burgundy or brown? leaning toward the former. i hate MTO :/
You've already got a brown shell boot in the Lindrick. Go for burgundy

Betty told me that the other colours they can do are black, burgundy or ruby but I'm not sure what the difference is between the latter two. I might end up going for burgundy as well or even cognac for something different.

I went with a navy shell bal boot MTO. how often do have the opportunity to get a navy bal boot? burgundy is the quintessential shell cordovan color and would probably look best. but wouldnt be able to live with myself if I passed up on a navy shell bal boot

I take it that means navy shell is no longer on backorder?
