After quite some time of hesitation, I decided to buy these. I dislike the branding, but I got a thing for tassel loafers and I thought these were something original. I got them 75% off MSRP as well.

Opinions?

The are great, i like the colours of it.

Although I find many EG styles to be quite "vanilla", whenever I see the Dover, I'm always impressed with the topstitching. Looks very well-executed.

There was some awesomeness and some nastiness on the last few pages. But I'll leave it up to you to decide which is which :)

I'm hoping I always post on the latter side of this scale. Too much of the same old stuff can make us boring... beautiful or not.

£225.00 full retail. A few sizes on sale at £145 without VAT
Available also in brown and grey

and chestnut and navy
Someone should really write to Herring's and try and get them to introduce a more traditional version of that design; across their own-brand range of spectator oxfords (Blenheim, Buckingham, Fencote, Henley, Hyde, Jekyll, Pimlico, and Shrewsbury -- a full eight models!), not a single one contains white suede!

Actually, maybe I'll do just that... but would the calf be better in brown or chestnut? Choices, choices...

Since you and I are the same size, what size do you normally buy in C&J and EG? Thanks

I wear a UK 8.5 in C&J everything. EG Im a 9/9.5 on the 202, sometimes a 9.5/10 - not usually though.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
