I just say there will be shrinkage to be safe but the fabric has gone through a stone wash so there really isn't any shrinkage at all. You should get your true size.

The Standard Issue is slightly smaller in the leg opening than the Stanton about .25-.5" less.

The Standard Issue is a more relaxed fit with a higher rise. Think modified Levis 501 '47. The rise is lower and the leg is slightly more fitted throughout.

After looking through the size charts I had a question about the rise measurements. According to the Sufu thread du measures rises in the traditional way, minus the waistband ... add 1.5" to get the rise from crotch to top of waist.

Just in case anyone else was curious.

You'll probably have a lot more luck asking around on SuFu than here.

Hello - I'm puzzled by the dimensions of the double indigo shirt. The XXL has a shoulder width of
18.75" and a sleeve length (1/2 shoulder width + sleeve) of nearly 40". The dimensions seem off; I can see a shirt being oversized, but the shoulders seem undersized and the sleeves seem way oversized. The shirt looks great but the dimensions? What am I doing wrong?

Hey Lance, I may have an unconventional way of measuring shirts. I measure the length of the sleeve from shoulder seam to the end of the cuff not from the middle of the shoulder. That being said standard grading rules apply S-XXL. The shirts run true to size and aren't oversized.

Take a look at context clothing's size charts they mirror mine in some regards...hope this
helps.

No worries Lance. Bill over at Craft and I are working on the shirt (Bill) and trouser (Me) consecutively.

I'll be documenting the wear and posting often. I've been wearing my trousers for about 2 weeks off and on and can already see some contrast and I know that Bill's been working in the shirt on the daily.

Yo, Carl's a super nice guy, his products are stella and he loves his craft so please support him any way you can. It's good to see more well made products coming out of LA from designers with the SF aesthetic.
If anyone likes to shoot the **** about all things denim Carl's a knowledgeable and friendly homey to converse with.

I'm in for the work shirt, I just need to find $180.

All my jeans have the hidden pen pocket in back right pocket, hidden tag in back left pocket and the contrast fabric on the fly facing.
