Without the side ornament I would have liked a duplicate pair ... Hmmmmmmmm, so many choices

Is it a tapered sole or a duble?

It's single sole, with thin rubber.

Just great shoes! You must have specially requested the Adelaide stitching treatment around the facings, and I quite like it. I expect that the default style is that shown on Kolecho's brogues (in another thread), which is also very nice. Did Vass put on the rubber sole protectors? If so, are they their own, or do they use Topys or similar product? About how much thickness do they add to the sole?

Yes, the default style is Budapest-Oxford (Kolecho's brogues), I have also those in oxblood. These new shoes are based on Oliver Moore's brogues as seen on Vass' book.

The rubber sole is very thin, around 1mm only. Prefer that over leather sole, as we have weather "issues" from time to time
