I just received my Kent Wang sample shirt that I purchased from the man himself. This is the size M shirt. First thought - I am very impressed with the fit. I am a 38-40R and this shirt fits perfectly. When I try on typical shirts with S, M, L-type sizing, I find that the body on a Medium is too baggy, and the sleeves of a Small are too short - this KW shirt does not suffer from either problem. For the record, I am 5'11 and 175 lbs. The fabric is really nice. I think this is quite a versatile stripe that looks good with dark ties that have a subtle woven pattern. The buttons are thick MOP and feel substantial. I really like the collar and cuff shape as well. I look forward to seeing what other fabrics Kent will offer, because I will certainly purchase from him again. Construction, fabric, and detailing are superior to similarly-priced shirts. I would say this is on par with shirts in the $200-$250 range (Robert Talbott, Zegna). At $105 this shirt represents an excellent value, and I am satisfied with my purchase. Here is Kent's original thread with the specifics of the shirts.
