And you got them from Huckberry, right? Looks like the shagginess of the nap was the result of multiple cleaning or brushing. Nice except for the shorter length heel which I’m not a fan of. If you’re not into the brand, consider the Idrese Hudson. It’s only $300 and ‘made to order’ and looks similar with the same Dainite sole but longer heel length? Cheers.- Fehr

Well, you lucked out. If the insoles are removable, you can try wearing without them. See if it relieves pressure on your toes. This is what I did with my Astorflex Greenflex. It was snug all around until I removed the insoles and wore thinner socks.- Fehr

Nice pick up, Juan! Love the color! Looks beige to me and is a perfect match for a faded light blue jeans. I'm a size 8.5 UK and bought the dark chestnut 42 based on the Astorflex recommendation. How small was the 43 can you recall? I guess you're a bit on the wider side that is why you sized up to 44 (contra to Astorflex's "size down if you are between sizes"). How much room in the front of your toes does the 44 leave you...half an inch?- Fehr
