Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I just saw there's a dedicated "fit check" thread on here, I'll give that a try as well and see if anyone can confirm what's going on in the back. I'm fine with the Ludlow's somewhat shorter (and slimmer) dimensions, but I know it's already kinda pushing the...- BonghitzMcGee

Sport coat fit check?
Not quite sure about the back. Looking at this photo I'm curious about the wrinkles, whether that has to do with sizing or other variables (shirt fits a bit loose so a little extra fabric in the back, and the jacket is unlined silk/linen blend so very little structure to it. Sport coat fit check?
Not tight or uncomfortable, I've found the J Crew Ludlow to be the style and fit that works best for me and my price range, usually I buy a 38s and have it taken in slightly, this is a 36s and feels nice. I decided to give it a try (sizing down) based on the dimensions given in the listing...- BonghitzMcGee

Good tip on seeing samples in person vs online. As for the adjustments, I suppose that would be expected the first time around, but it sounds like once they nail the dimensions and save the specs it's just a matter of picking the fabrics and details on subsequent shirts, knowing that the fit...- BonghitzMcGee

Excellent, thank you. A bit on the higher end of what I was hoping to spend, but I think I'd rather pay 2x for an exact fit and be able to pick the exact fabric and design than be limited to not-quite-right fits and a limited selection of fabrics and designs.
