Buying my first suit for a job interview
A suit is jacket + pants made from the same fabric. Color alone does not make a suit. Black blazer is not recommended at all, especially since it will inevitably not match the fabric of your trousers. Buy a complete suit. Dark navy would be perfect for interviews. If you can afford it go...- GaiusM

Best way to make existing leather gloves work with touchscreens?
I've found that most leather gloves have a sweet spot somewhere that works with smartphones. Unfortunately it is rarely the tip of the index finger. Bespoke in 3 weeks? Maybe a shirt but even that would be pushing it. MTM typically has lead times of a month or more with no basted fitting. Worth entirely depends on you. Custom can go wrong. So can alterations and buying the wrong size. I am saying if you really want this particular coat then buy it in your size. Winter Boots Recommendation for a Pilot
Pretty sure he's referring to the color, not a specific brand. Lots of makers offer color 8 cordovan. IMO dark brown or a deep burgundy would go better with everything you listed apart from the black pilot suit. Even then dark brown or burgundy would be serviceable.- GaiusM

Seconding @gimpwiz For that price you could have a coat made for you. Altering something thrifted or reasonable RTW is one thing, spending thousands on a coat expecting to make major potentially ruinous alterations to it is another. Spend big on things that fit right from the start.- GaiusM

How do I get this weird stain out of my polo?
If it's all cotton try shampoo with a bit of rock salt. Wet the area first, put a little shampoo on it, massage in, then sprinkle salt and rub with fingers. If all else fails lemon juice works on white cotton, no clue about colors. Test all methods on hidden area like under the collar first.- GaiusM

Spier and McKay Casual Oxford shirts
Too tight in the body. Lots of pulling at the buttons, especially the bottom buttoned one. Material softens over time but IME the overall fit does not change. I would resell and size up or switch brands- GaiusM
