Worth the wait, 124060 took me 3 months. Any rare shell has been at least 6 months. Stainless steel sports models have been hard to get since they updated to the 12 series- sterlingindigo

Generally, rare shell is offered as an incentive for regular customers of a particular retailer and are invite only.
