    The Overcoat Thread

@FlyingHorker The coat looks really cool. I would definitely pop the collar and lapels when wearing, though. Makes for an even more slouchy look.

The Arthuro denim is quite thick and sturdy, IME. The Arthur from two seasons ago was light and flimsy.

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Thanks for asking. Sorry, don’t have my Brannock size as none of the shoe stores in Norway I've been to have a Brannock device. They fit tight in the toebox, as both my big toes hit the toebox wall. They fit very similar to an old Red Wing moc toe boot I used to wear in size US 10.5, which...

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Thanks. They are really, really well made both in terms of construction and finishing. Totally see your point, though. Luckily I also ordered a Moc Toe boot which fit well, so I will get to enjoy those! Peng will make me a new pair first in line if I want, though. Just need to sell these first...

    Flame Panda Lace Down Boots

Exquisitely made Flame Panda boots. Sadly too small for me. Only tried on. The construction quality and finishing on par with the best bootmakers out there, priced way over these. I paid 1100 USD total included Norwegian import duties, so I'm selling for what I paid. Size US 10.5. They fit...

Definitely keep Arthuro in size 34. They look really good on you. A competent tailor can take in the waist.

Nice. Any obvious differences in quality between BW and Xibao? Or other differences, like stiffness of heel counter and toe puff, for example?

I think you should size up on the Arthuro and have the waist taken in (a competent tailor can do it). It's supposed to hang more straight from the hips down than it's doing in 32×32. From the looks of it, the 34 waist might not even be too big if you're gonna wear a belt, anyways.

Looks really, really good. Who is the tailor? Doesn't look like The Anthology?

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

Kind of related to the post above, but can the darts running from the chest and downwards on the fronts of a MTM-jacket be let out to create more space in the chest and stomach area? The sides have already been let out max. Or is the extra cloth from the darts usually cut off during construction?

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Hi! So I have tried to find out more about the Ventnor loafer. I love my Picadilly's, specifically the strap and apron proportions, and have seen it stated online that the Ventnor is an unlined version of the Picadilly? Is this right? I.e. that the the strap and apron design is identical to...

    The Overcoat Thread

I'm 190 cm (6'3), and find that between 118 cm (falls just below my knees) and 130 cm is a good length interval to choose between, if one wants a coat at below knee length. My RL Polo coat is ca 130 cm (51 inches), while my PS Herringbone raglan coat is 118 cm.
