Offical TRICKERS shoes and boots thread

Could be that they applied dubbin as they suggest for water resistance and that it made both midsole and stitching darker?

Depending on where and how much you apply, it might end up looking like 1001 burnished. If you like it I also say go for it. The 1001 burnished is darker on the toe cap and up the tongue so if you want that look, you can apply a bit heavier on those areas.

Interesting. I'm in Sweden and get the price in euro on Tricker's main site. 110 for shoe trees and 90 for boot trees.

Does anyone know or have any theories on why Tricker's shoe trees are more expensive than their boot trees? It seems the wrong way around to me since the boot trees would require more material. Or maybe they're both carved from the same size wood block and the shoe trees require more machine...

Look a bit like kudu without the scars. I wonder if they're similar in softness too.

I will do this. Hopefully they give me a good discount (something like the factory shop prices) or replace them. Unfortunately I don't think replacing will be an option since the 9,5 are sold out but I can hope.

Really? I didn't think they sold their construct range in the factory shop. Do yours have a flaw or something prevented them from selling them in the regular shop? I agree it's a great colour. I love that the brown has a reddish hue. I would also like a pair in sign kudu!

Thank you both for your feedback! I'll send trickers an email and ask for the reason for the discrepancy in eyelet material. Maybe they'll give me a discount or something since I still do like the shoes, I just would have liked them more if they were as advertised. Another strange thing I...

Hi all! First time writer but I've been lurking here since my trickers addiction started in August of last year. Since then I've bought six pairs of trickers and this post is regarding the latest pair I purchased. They are a pair of Ethan monkey boots in snuff kudu over Ridgeway from their...
